Flood/Spreader Lights
Even if you are an avid boater, you may not be familiar with marine spreader lights or Flood Lights. These are essentially courtesy lighting that originally had been mounted to the spreaders on a sailboat mast, hence the name. Today, they’re basically small flood lights that can be mounted anywhere, on any type of boat, the key feature being that they point downward to throw light on decks, cabins, anywhere that passengers require additional lighting for safety. Available in a wide range of lengths and configurations, spreader lights are commonly used on professional fishing boats, ski boats, and commercial vessels. Spreader lights are designed to project light at extreme distances while consuming very little power.
